Dear Sir,
I send you a copy of "Cherubini" with various additions and corrections for yr. consideration. Where I quote La Mara please compare with the German account, to see that I am correct! You will not have to translate anything here, or where I have quoted Dr. Hiller, etc., but only to correct me; and look to the German originales themselves. Whether you will repeat all I have said from Dr. Hiller's German works I must leave to you, but his new facts, apart from opinions, are interesting. I have quoted a deal because I am diffident I have done scanty justice to the Coronation Mass in G so little known. With respect to my photograph I will send you one when those I have ordered come.
